CCW3 Waterville (Closed)
Aviation in Kings County was established in with the construction of CFB Greenwood in 1943. Not long afterwards, an alternative airstrip was built as an emergency landing strip if Greenwood were to come under attack. After the end of World War II, the airstrip was purchased by private owners and would become what was known as CCW3 Waterville.
